Joan, the Spirit of the Hedgerider, is an experienced forager and will be exploring the local plants to be found in Carreglwyd woods. Join her on Saturday morning at 10.30am at the Roots Forest School for a free workshop and a peek into the wonderful world of foraging. Suitable for all ages!

Birthing Mamas will be holding a free singing session for kids at 1pm on Saturday afternoon at the Roots Forest School. No need to book, just turn up and sing or listen along!

Sunday Morning, 10.30am at the Roots Forest School. Join qualified practioner Nina from Blossom and Berry the baby massage and yoga trainers for a free baby massage session. No need to book online, just drop in before for a chat and say hello.

Join the Holyhead based Just For Joy Theatre Company on Sunday at 12pm Midday for a fun theatre and exploraion session for kids of all ages. In the Roots Forest School, free, no booking necessary.

Amanda (Twirly Hoops) is back again this year with her hula hoop workshop! Pop down to the lawn by the lake on Saturday and Sunday afternoon (2-4pm) to learn some hoop tricks and play around with a giant slinky. Free for all, any age can join in (no one’s too old to hula hoop!)

You can also have a go at making and decorating your very own hula hoop! There is a limited amount of material available for making hoops so booking in advance is essential (the cost is £10 per hoop to cover the cost of materials). 

Hugh Roberts is an internationally renowned greenwoodworker and rural craftsman. He will be demonstrating the ancient art of the pole lathe using locally sourced Welsh hardwoods. Transforming them into various objects such as rolling pins, dabbers and babies rattles and tent pegs. Children can book to decorate them to look like colourfull birds.. just speak to Hugh or one of his workers on the day to arrange a spot. Hugh has a wealth of knowledge and is always happy to talk about our rich woodland heritage. 

Bubbles will be back again in the afternoon, free for all to join in the fun! Giant bubble entertainment and interactive fun with 'get inside a bubble'. Join us and have a go with our enormous bubbles! And when you've had enough of being on the outside... climb inside one!

Facepainting for kids of all ages! Facepaint is allegen tested and comes adorned with crystals and bio glitter. There will be a small charge to cover materials, no need to book in advance.

Arts & crafts for those little learning fingers and bursting creatives! Come and make some festival wear and strut your stuff on the catwalk! All materials vegan and sustainable/earth friendly. Free for all to join.

Free for all to join and held over the course of the weekend. Sometimes it's hard to express yourself with the movement of your body! Take the time to come and be a bit silly with us enjoying throwing shapes you can then use on the dance floor!

Free morning animal yoga sessions for kids of all ages! Time to stretch and breath and maybe even laugh! You don't need to be a yoga master for this one, enjoy mimicking animals and watching our breath!
